Mr. Paulus Stefan, LemnaTec's technician, gave a report about “Phenotyping Applications and Trait Analyses Performed by LemnaTec”. Mr. Paulus Stefan introduced the principle and application of phenotypic technology, the composition and function of phenotypic products as well as the latest research progress of LemnaTec products. Mr. Paulus Stefan communicated with researchers about how to use the phenotypic technology to achieve the purposes of research and other academic questions. Mr. Henri De Los Rios, the Sales Director of ALCI, took SAS Sampling Automation System as an example, combined with the demo videos, explained the working principle of SAS, product features and application skills in sampling. Dr. Ronald Michaels communicated with researchers about how to use the X-Ray technology to study the plant phenotyping and other academic questions. X-ray imaging is an excellent approach for studying the complicated and three dimensional nature of root systems. This imaging method can also be used to image internal structure in seeds, fruits, ears, leaves, stalks and root pests.
