This year’s analytica China Conference will focus important topics like analytical chemistry, functional materials, high-throughput sequencing and its applications as well as food safety. Scientists from Australia, China, Germany, Japan, Poland, South Korea, Switzerland and the United States will give a total of 63 English lectures on various fields of analytical chemistry. Organized by the Chinese Chemical Society (CCS) and Prof. Schmitz (University of Duisburg-Essen), the 7th Shanghai International Symposium on Analytical Chemistry will open at the Shanghai New International Expo Center along with analytica China 2014. The symposium has received strong support from the Department of Chemistry of the Tsinghua University and will focus on “the Analytical Chemistry – Science in Our Lives” covering topics in environment, food safety, pharmacy and traditional chinese medicine, biology, proteomics, metabolomics and their applications. This year’s symposium is expected to attract over 500 experts, researchers and representatives from the industry.

Focus Chinese and European markets: Close watch on food safety

Following the success of the last symposium on food safety, the 2014 Shanghai Sino-EU International Forum on Food Safety, organized by MMI Shanghai and the Shanghai Society of Food Science, has been upgraded and will concentrate on the differences between food safety in China and Europe as well as their future development. Discussions will be made in regard to testing and control technology under new food safety regulations. Experts and university professors from Europe and China will lecture on the most advanced and cutting-edge food safety testing technologies and monitoring systems. The merge of technologies and ideas from China and Europe will bring experience and inspiration for the future. The forum is an excellent opportunity for visitors to communicate with leading researchers and practitioners in the industry.

2014 International Conference on Functional Materials (ICFM 2014) As answer to the demand from exhibitors, users as well as the material testing market, the 2014 International Conference on Functional Materials (ICFM 2014) will open for the first time during analytica China 2014. The 黄金城游戏 is co-organized by IUMRS, C-MRS and NIETRCFM, undertaken by FMPP and MMI Shanghai and supported by CAST, IOP, Maney Publishing and NSFC.
