Telstar Aeolus proven to consume up to 35% less power than the current market average

Terrassa (Barcelona) 2016, March 21^st. A new range of laminar flow cabinets offering up to 35% less power consumption than the typical marketplace equivalent will be exhibited at Analytica (Munich 2016, May 10th-13th).

Designed by Telstar to provide protection for the product in an ISO 4 sterile environment, the Telstar Aeolus range of cabinets integrates energy saving EC fans and an automatic airflow velocity control system which ensures optimized protection level and offers an extremely low sound level, in addition to 20% more sterile working area while maintaining a compact external footprint.

The laminar flow system enables work to be carried out under sterile conditions with low particulate count by virtue of a continuous filtered air sweep in the work area, which assures full product protection. The range of Telstar Aeolus cabinets includes an air anemometer speed monitoring system which confirms effectiveness to the operator at all times and avoids deviations from the average laminar flow range.

In addition to a visible and accessible display, the 黄金城游戏 also includes a system of optical and acoustic alarms that warn of any incident and the stainless steel work surface, designed as an integral part, can easily be dismantled. Using an innovative lighting structure, appropriate illumination is provided to the working area, which minimises visual fatigue and help eliminate glare and reflections. In addition, the cabinet sides, designed in tempered glass, provide full visibility and enhance the inner lighting. The new range of cabinets is also designed to facilitate access to all components from the front, which is made of sliding glass in the vertical model, rendering technical maintenance tasks easier.

Telstar Aeolus range of cabinets is particularly suitable for handling non-pathogenic samples in applications related to hospital protocols and clinical pharmacy, in vitro fertilisation, food quality control and microbiology, in vitro cultivation of plant and animal cells, microbiology and clean rooms for pharmaceutical, veterinary and food industries, as well as hospitals, universities and research centres.

LyoBeta Mini

During Analytica Telstar will also be exhibiting The LyoBeta Mini, a compact version of its pilot-scale freeze dryer specifically designed for applications in experimentation and research and formulation to develop recipes for pharmaceutical freeze-drying processes. Designed in twin-vessel configuration, with an external condenser of capacity 6kg, separately located from the product chamber, this new model of pilot-scale freeze dryer bridges the gap in the market that was hitherto addressed through the use of larger scale laboratory 黄金城游戏.
