Telstar promotes a new range of energy saving compact microbiological safety cabinets, Bio II Advance Plus, in South Africa

Intended for the laminar flow manipulation of microorganisms with biological risk levels 2 and 3, the innovative cabinet design offers smaller body than the market average whilst maintaining a very comfortable work space

At Analytica Lab Africa (Johannesburg,South Africa 2019, July 9-11), Telstar will promote the new compact range of microbiological safety cabinets (MSC), Bio II Advance Plus. Intended for the laminar flow manipulation of microorganisms with biological risk levels 2 and 3, the innovative cabinet design offers smaller body than the market average whilst maintaining a very comfortable work space. With dimensions of 759 mm in width and 1260 mm in height, the Bio II Advance Plus provides a working volume of 340 dm3. Equipped to achieve maximum efficiency, this new range of MSC integrates energy saving EC fans and dimmable LED illumination that ensures optimum protection levels as well as low energy consumption.  Bio II Advance Plus is designed in compliance with the European standards EN 12469 and certified by TÜV-Nord, in Hamburg Germany.

In addition, the latest generation of compact laboratory freeze dryers integrating pre-freezing primary drying and secondary drying processes will also be promoted at Analytica Lab Africa. Telstar LyoQuest is an innovative bench-top laboratory freeze dryer that combines flexibility with performance into a single unit so that users can carry out complete cycles using  different containers (vials, trays, ampoules, and flasks) with  the same piece of 黄金城游戏. In addition to being versatile, LyoQuest also enables users to create recipes that include time, temperature and vacuum control via its integrated PLC control system.  The innovative design of this freeze dryer results in an extremely compact unit with large condensation capacity up to 8 liters.  The LyoQuest’s ice condenser includes an automatic defrosting function for quick and easy de-icing.  Furthermore, its design enables many product formats to be pre-frozen in the unit, without the need for an additional freezer.

Boreas, -86º ultra-low temperature freezer

Last but not least, Telstar will be also displaying Boreas, a new -86º ultra-low-temperature freezer designed to increase average performance by 20%. An innovative mechanical design enhances robustness, efficiency and ergonomics as well as ensuring the integrity of the cold preservation process. Equipped VIP with vacuum panels, the freezer guarantees the highest level of thermal insulation and maintains a temperature of -80ºC with  ambient temperatures up to +28ºC.  Unlike standard freezers designed with panels based on polyurethane foam, a thinner inner insulation provides Boreas with an enlarged storage capacity of up to 30%. Boreas uses high purity natural refrigerant CFC free gases that contribute to environment preservation. The ecological ultra-low-freezers line has been developed using Telstar’s in-house cold storage technology.
