Telstar expresses its sorrow for the death of its president who has left us on December 19 at the age of 57

Born in Terrassa on November 21st, 1964, Ton Capella has been closely linked to Telstar, a family business founded in 1963 for the design and manufacture of vacuum pumps for industry. After the integration process of Telstar into the Azbil Group in 2013, the company maintained its brand to lead the Life Science Engineering division of the Japanese corporation under the presidency and direction of Ton Capella who successfully led the transition process. Since 2017, Ton Capella has been the Chairman of Azbil Telstar.

An Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and PDD a Business Management from the IESE Business School, Ton Capella was actively connected to local institutions. Appointed president of the Egarsat board of directors in 2010, he has also participated in the government team of the Terrassa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
