", says Mr Markus Kuhner, the director of Kuhner Shaker Limited.

Mr. Kuhner visited the exhibition booth of “Labwit Scientific”, known as “Shanghai ZHICHENG”, at Lab Africa 2013, Johannesburg in June, and had a very pleasant meeting with the director of “Shanghai ZHICHENG”, Mr. Shuixing Shen, and the general manager, Mr. Ben Shen. Mr. Kuhner says it excited to meet Shuixing and Ben, and see the new premium shaking incubator range at the booth and the pictures of the new factory facilities of “ZHICHENG”.

When Mr. Kuhner first saw “LABWIT Scientific” booth at Lab Africa, he looked a bit surprised, “I know your company, aren’t you famous in China? I saw ZHICHENG’s booth every time when I visited Analytica China. For the international exhibition, I have also visited your booth at Arab Lab 2011 in Dubai. Don’t you remember me?” Finally, he became an old friend of “ZHICHENG”.

At the stand, Director Mr. Shen introduced the history and the recent development of "ZHICHENG", as well as the new brand “LABWIT Scientific”. Mr Kuhner nodded with compliment, and also introduced the Kuhner story to the ZHICHENG fellows.

As the world’s earliest manufacturer of shakers and shaking incubator, Kuhner Shaker Limited was founded by Mr. Adolf Kuhner in 1949. Like today’s most Chinese family businesses, Kuhner Shaker Limited also suffered from the pains at the beginning of business, and then enjoyed the delight of success after struggling. As the second generation of Kuhner AG family business, Mr. Markus Kuhner has been in the industry for more than 30 years, and took over the business from his father, Mr. Adolf Kuhner since 1985. He is passionate and still looking for opportunities of business expansion across the world, like US market.

After meeting at “Labwit Scientific” booth, Mr. Kunher invited Mr. Shen to Kuhner’s stand and introduced the unique product features of the Kuhner shakers, such as direct drive, humidity and multi-gas controlling. Mr. Shuixing Shen, says “compared with Kuhner shaker limited, Labwit Scientific is still a junior player in the market. While as a Chinese brand of shaking incubator, LABWIT Scientific will keep striving with constant innovation and development, having the top branded products, like Kuhner as our benchmark, gradually elevating the quality of “Made in China” and “Designed in China”, and finally deliver more cost effective products to the global market.

At the end of this meeting, Mr. Kuhner and Mr. Shen exchanged the catalogs with their own signatures as souvenirs.
