Currently available only in China, the new Thermo Scientific Refrigerated Incubators are designed to provide scientists with stable and uniform temperatures between 4 and 60 °C. The new Thermo Scientific RI-150 and 250 series incubators are ideal for incubation and testing below or around ambient temperature or at standard 37 °C incubating in warm lab environments. Typical applications include bacteria and yeast research, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) testing and storage of samples at specific temperatures.

Thermo Scientific Refrigerated Incubators are designed to provide consistent results while bringing basics to a new level with reliable compressor technology. The RI-150 and 250 series incubators are equipped with easy-to-use single set point microprocessor controls to reach the precise temperatures needed to obtain reproducible results. A timer function allows the operator to start or stop the unit at a specified time while a simple calibration routine provides accurate temperature display. The adjustable over- and under-temperature alarms prevent unexpected temperature deviations. A standard access port allows inserting independent sensors for data monitoring, and an RS232 data interface provides the ability to send temperature data to a connected computer. IQ/OQ documentation and servicesare available.

The incubator is available in both a table-top size and a spacious floor-standing version with a shelving system incorporating numerous shelf positions for space flexibility.
